Arne Slot has signed a new contract at Feyenoord, keeping him at the club until 2026.
Slot has been heavily linked to the Tottenham head coach role, but he has shut the door on a move to north London by agreeing a new contract with the Eredivisie club.
Dutchman Slot, 44, joined Feyenoord in 2021 and led them to a Europa Conference League final in 2022. This season he led Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title.
“I’m not done here yet,” Slot said.
“We have had a wonderful season with Feyenoord, with the championship as a wonderful reward for all the hard work that has been put in, but I really want to continue building.
“After the summer, an adventure awaits in the Champions League and there is a national title to defend.
“Enough to look forward to, so I am proud to be and remain Feyenoord’s trainer in Rotterdam.”
“I have heard a lot about the interest of other clubs in me,” Slot said, as reported by AD.
“I am grateful for the appreciation that this expresses, but my wish is to stay with Feyenoord and continue to build on the foundations that have been laid over the past two seasons.”

Tottenham have limped towards the finish line in the 2022-23 season, winning once in their last seven Premier League outings, a run that has seen them tumble out of the European positions.
